$250 Mastercard Gift Card Monthly Giveaway – Official Rules

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A purchase will not increase your chances of winning.

1. Contest Period: This Contest runs monthly. Each monthly entry period (the “Contest Period”) begins on the first day of the calendar month at 12:00:00 a.m. ET and ends on the last day of that same calendar month at 11:59:59 p.m. ET. A new Contest Period begins automatically each month for as long as the Contest remains active.

2. Eligibility: The Contest is open to legal residents of Canada, excluding residents of Quebec, who have reached the age of majority in their province or territory of residence at the time of entry.

Employees, contractors, and agents of Coachwood Group Inc. (the “Sponsor”), its parent, affiliates, subsidiaries, and their immediate family members, including a spouse, parent, sibling, or child, or members of the same household are not eligible to enter or win.

3. How to Enter:

Method 1 – Online Entry: Scan the QR code found on the BioSteel postcard included with your order, or visit biosteel.ca/pages/monthly-giveaway directly, and complete the entry form with the required information during the applicable Contest Period.

Method 2 – Mail-In Entry (No Purchase Necessary): Hand-print your full name, mailing address, email address, phone number, and date of birth on a plain piece of paper, along with the words “BioSteel $250 Mastercard Monthly Giveaway”, and mail it to:

Mail-in entries must be received at the address above on or before the last day of the calendar month in which the entrant wishes to be entered. Entries received after the last day of the month will be entered into the following month’s Contest Period.

Limit of one (1) entry per person per Contest Period, regardless of method of entry.

4. Odds of Winning: Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the applicable Contest Period.

5. Winner Selection and Verification: One (1) winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries received during that month’s Contest Period within seven (7) days following the end of the Contest Period.

The selected entrant will be required to correctly answer a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question, without mechanical or other aid, to be declared a winner, as required by Canadian law.

The selected entrant will be contacted using the email address or phone number provided at the time of entry. If a selected entrant cannot be reached within five (5) business days, does not satisfy the eligibility requirements, fails to correctly answer the skill-testing question, or otherwise fails to comply with these Official Rules, the Sponsor reserves the right to select an alternate winner from the remaining eligible entries for that Contest Period.

6. Prize: One (1) prize consisting of a $250 CAD Mastercard gift card will be awarded during each monthly Contest Period.

The prize is non-transferable, has no cash value, and no substitution is permitted except at the Sponsor’s discretion, in which case a prize of equal or greater value may be awarded.

Any Mastercard gift card awarded may be subject to the terms, conditions, restrictions, and expiry provisions imposed by the card issuer.

7. Conditions of Entry: By entering, participants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding in all matters relating to the Contest.

The Sponsor is not responsible for incomplete, late, lost, misdirected, damaged, illegible, or incorrectly submitted entries, or for technical, network, website, device, internet, or communications failures of any kind.

8. Publicity Release: Except where prohibited by law, acceptance of a prize constitutes permission for the Sponsor to use the winner’s name, city and province or territory of residence, likeness, image, voice, and statements relating to the Contest for advertising, publicity, and promotional purposes without further notice or compensation, unless otherwise required by law.

9. Privacy: Personal information collected in connection with this Contest will be used to administer the Contest, contact selected entrants, verify eligibility, and award prizes in accordance with BioSteel’s Privacy Policy .

Where an entrant has provided consent, their personal information may also be used for future email or SMS marketing communications. Consent to receive marketing communications is not required to enter the Contest or to be eligible to win, and entrants may unsubscribe at any time.

10. General Conditions: The Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify, extend, or suspend the Contest, including any individual monthly Contest Period, if fraud, technical failures, unauthorized intervention, human error, or any other factor beyond the Sponsor’s reasonable control affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper operation of the Contest.

The Sponsor also reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who tampers with or attempts to tamper with the entry process, submits false information, violates these Official Rules, or otherwise attempts to undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Sponsor and its parent, affiliates, subsidiaries, employees, contractors, officers, directors, representatives, and agents will not be liable for any loss, damage, injury, claim, or liability arising from participation in the Contest or the acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of a prize.
