BioSteel Hockey Stick Giveaway – Official Rules

The “BioSteel Hockey Stick Giveaway” (the “Contest”) is sponsored and administered by BioSteel Sports Inc. (“BioSteel”, “Sponsor”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), located in Ontario, Canada. This Contest is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or affiliated with CCM Hockey ULC, nor is CCM Hockey ULC associated with this Contest in any way. CCM, RIBCOR, and TRIGGER 10 PRO CHROME are trademarks and/or product names of CCM Hockey ULC. Prize product is identified solely to describe the prize.

Eligibility: Open only to legal residents of Canada, excluding Quebec, who have reached the age of majority in their province or territory of residence at the time of entry. Residents of Quebec are not eligible to enter. Employees, officers, directors, agents, and representatives of BioSteel, its parent and affiliated companies, advertising and promotion agencies, prize suppliers, and members of their immediate families (spouse, parent, sibling, child) and persons living in the same household are not eligible. BioSteel reserves the right to verify eligibility.

Contest Period: The Contest begins on [INSERT START DATE] at 12:00 a.m. ET and ends on January 31, 2027 at 11:59 p.m. ET (the “Contest Period”). All entries must be received during the Contest Period.

How to Enter: No purchase necessary. To enter, complete and submit the official entry form on the Contest landing page by providing your first and last name, date of birth, email address, phone number, full mailing address, and province or territory of residence. Limit of one (1) entry per person per email address during the Contest Period. Multiple entries, automated entries, or entries using multiple email addresses by the same person are prohibited and will result in disqualification.

As an alternate method of entry, you may mail a handwritten entry including your first and last name, date of birth, email address, phone number, full mailing address, and province or territory of residence to: BioSteel Sports Inc., 13455 Sylvestre Dr, Windsor, Ontario, Canada N9K 0C2. Mail-in entries must be received during the Contest Period. Limit of one (1) entry per person, regardless of method of entry.

Prizes: There are five (5) prizes available to be won. Each prize consists of one (1) CCM RIBCOR TRIGGER 10 PRO CHROME hockey stick. Prize size, age category, handedness, flex, curve, length, and other specifications will be determined based on winner preference and product availability, at BioSteel’s sole discretion. Approximate retail value ranges from $299.99 CAD to $439.99 CAD per prize, depending on the applicable stick size/specification, with a maximum total approximate retail value of $2,199.95 CAD if all five prizes are fulfilled as Senior sticks. Prize may not be exactly as shown. Prizes are non-transferable, have no cash value, and no substitutions are permitted, except that BioSteel reserves the right to substitute a prize, in whole or in part, with one of equal or greater value in its sole discretion.

Winner Selection: After the Contest Period, BioSteel or its authorized representatives will conduct a random draw from all eligible entries received to select five (5) potential winners. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.

Winner Notification & Requirements: Potential winners will be contacted by email and/or phone using the information provided at the time of entry. To be declared a winner, a selected entrant must (i) respond to the notification within four (4) business days, (ii) correctly answer a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question without assistance of any kind, and (iii) sign and return a Declaration of Compliance and Liability/Publicity Release as requested. If a selected entrant cannot be contacted, fails to respond in time, fails to correctly answer the skill-testing question, fails to sign and return any required documents, is found to be ineligible, or otherwise does not comply with these Official Rules, they will be disqualified and an alternate entrant may be selected.

Prize Fulfillment: BioSteel will make reasonable efforts to fulfill each prize based on the confirmed winner’s requested stick size, handedness, flex, curve, and other available specifications; however, exact specifications are not guaranteed and are subject to availability. BioSteel is not responsible for any additional equipment, accessories, tape, apparel, services, taxes, duties, or other costs not expressly stated as being included with the prize.

Publicity: By accepting a prize, each winner consents to the use of their name, city or province of residence, likeness, image, voice, and any statements they provide about the Contest or BioSteel for advertising, publicity, and promotional purposes in any media now known or hereafter developed, worldwide and in perpetuity, without further notice or compensation, except where prohibited by law.

Privacy: Personal information collected in connection with this Contest will be used by BioSteel to administer the Contest in accordance with these Official Rules and BioSteel’s Privacy Policy. Where an entrant opts in, BioSteel may also use their information to send marketing emails and text messages, which they can unsubscribe from at any time. Consent to receive marketing communications is not required to enter the Contest or to be eligible to win.

Third-Party Trademark Disclaimer: CCM Hockey ULC is not a sponsor, administrator, endorser, or partner of this Contest and is not responsible for the administration of the Contest, the collection or use of entrant information, or the fulfillment of any prize. Any product names, trademarks, logos, or images appearing in Contest materials are used solely to identify and describe the prize. No association, affiliation, sponsorship, approval, or endorsement by CCM Hockey ULC is intended or implied.

Limitation of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, entrants agree that BioSteel and its affiliates, subsidiaries, parents, advertising and promotion agencies, prize suppliers, and all of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives, and agents (the “Released Parties”) shall not be liable for and are hereby released from any and all claims, actions, damages, losses, or liabilities arising out of or related to participation in the Contest or the acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize, including, without limitation, personal injury, death, property damage, or loss. The Released Parties are not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, incomplete, illegible, damaged, or corrupted entries; technical errors of any kind; failures of any website, platform, or device; or any other issues that may limit a person’s ability to participate in the Contest.

Right to Cancel, Modify, or Disqualify: BioSteel reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, modify, suspend, or terminate the Contest at any time, for any reason, including but not limited to fraud, technical failures, human error, unauthorized intervention, or any other factor beyond its reasonable control that impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Contest. BioSteel also reserves the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with or attempts to tamper with the entry process, violates these Official Rules, acts in an unsportsmanlike, disruptive, or abusive manner, or attempts to undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest.

Fraud & Misconduct: Any attempt to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of this Contest may be a violation of criminal and civil laws. Should such an attempt be made, BioSteel reserves the right to seek damages and other remedies to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Governing Law: The Contest and these Official Rules are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising out of or connected with the Contest shall be resolved exclusively in the courts located in Ontario, Canada.

General: If any provision of these Official Rules is found to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be severed and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. Participation in the Contest constitutes the entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to these Official Rules and BioSteel’s decisions, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Contest.
